Preliminary Permits

In early 2008, Kenai Hydro filed four preliminary permits to investigate sites for their hydropower potential. The four preliminary permits were intended to investigate potential hydropower development at Crescent Lake, Ptarmingan Lake, Grant Lake, and Falls Creek. While the Grant Lake and Falls Creek Projects have been combined into one proposal and remain active, Kenai Hydro surrendered the permits for the Crescent and Ptarmingan Lake Projects in September 2009.
